A Wordy Wordless Wednesday - Easter Style

The Easter Weekend just flew by, but not before a lot of fun was had by us. I'm keeping it brief on the writing today cause this is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday, (my almost Wordless version) I'm going big on the photos today, partly cause I wanted to share some of the things we got up to over the weekend, but also because I have Chocolate Egg RSI (there is so such a thing). Yup, unwrapped way too many Easter Eggs this weekend and now my hands and my belly are paying for it.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter, however you chose to celebrate it.

These Bunny Tails (mini marshmallows) went down a treat with the kids. I can't take any credit for the idea though, nope it all goes to the amazing Mrs A in The Cove and the little jars I brought from her store Sweet Style.

A Seafood Feast is our Traditional Good Friday Lunch

Painting Eggs as a family is another Good Friday Tradition started by my mum nearly 20 years ago. I totally planned to share some of the funnier eggs from over the years with you... perhaps tomorrow.

 I found a gorgeous recipe for this Strawberry Crepe Cake on Pinterest from Kiki Creates and it was one of the most fabulous desserts I have ever made.

It all got a little tiresome for one of the little guys and he needed a lie down. Actually his eyes were just sore from spending too long in the pool.

Easter Morning saw the boys receive some goodies from Mum and Dad as well as the Fluffy dude. Every year after multiple chocolate dosed meltdowns, I curse myself for giving them too much of the good stuff, but every year I go and do it all over again. One day I'll learn.

Whilst poor hubby was home wiped out with the flu the kids and I headed off to my brothers house to share Easter Sunday with his beautiful family and my parents. The cousins just adore each other and always have a ball together. Oh and yes...more chocolate.

Finally to wear of the chocolate highs I made them run around the beach in the afternoon, you know to just make sure the chocolate coma kicked in right on bedtime.
