I filled my bucket over the weekend, just like I said I was going too. Actually I filled a whole shopping trolley at Spotlight on Saturday, but that is beside the point.
My creativity has been stifled of late thanks to all the grown up responsibility and stuff life keeps pegging at me. But like any good obsession, you can't hold it back before for too long before it resurfaces with a vengeance.
And resurface it has.
My love of cushions is no secret around these parts, nor is the reputation my cushion killer dog has for loving them in a very *ahem* exuberant way before eating them. And so when I was writing up my list of projects for Martha Mudguts to tackle, new cushions was right there at the top.
Spotlight has some crazy awesome material at the moment and including inserts each cushion cost me approximately $8 bucks to make and no more than 15 minutes to put together from go to whoa.
For reals.
If you want to have a go at making some of these for yourself, check out the tutorial I put together a while back on how to make the easiest cushions ever.
Next on the project list is weaving. Yep those late night brain bursts I had last week about how to make a weaving loom - are gonna come in mighty handy thank you very much.
Until then, I will be here just admiring the neon awesomeness of these DIY tush cushions.
Are you working on anything at the moment? Got any obsessions life is stifling?
