Hellloooo there and top of the day to you! It's Friday so I am busting at the britches to dive into the weekend.

It's the time of the month when I get to share with you guys some of my favourite products that the family and I have been very lucky to try this month. I love it even more when I really enjoy something and the fabulous company that sent it to me agree to give away one to you guys too!

Now just a reminder that giveaway winners will be picked by Random Org. All you have to do in the comments is tell me what Giveaway you would like to enter and answer the question. If you want to enter multiple giveaways, that's fine too, just provide a separate comment for each product. You can even get an extra entry for sharing this post on Facebook!

1. The Au Pair by Janey Fraser

This book was a welcome distraction for me this past month and I know you will love it too. It is one of those book where you become very attached to the characters and you miss them when you finish the book.

Set in England, the story starts with Jilly, a stressed out mum of three kids who decides to start up her own au pair agency after hearing some of the disastrous experiences other mums at her school have had with their au pairs.

An au pair agency seems a simple enough idea right? Sadly it's not all smooth sailing. Some of the au pairs are more interested in partying, leave the kids on their own and some don't even like kids. And then there are some of the girls who have joined her agency have ulterior motives for moving to England? Like Marie-France who is searching for her father who she knows nothing about except for his name and that her mother met him when she was once an au pair herself.

You see the both sides of the story in this book - the family's and the au pair's. Imagine what it would be like to be an Au pair to a little girl who has lost her mum and just wants her dad all to herself and does everything in her power to get rid of every au pair. Or how would it be to be treated like an absolute slave by the family's mum? It would kinda suck right? Well it happens in this story.

This book is written by Janey Fraser and in this book she has created characters that you will love, loathe, pity and just outright laugh at. It is a really easy and enjoyable read and I'm now looking forward to reading more books by this Janey.
I have a copy of this book The Au Pair to giveaway to one lucky person.

If you would like to win a copy of this book leave me a comment telling me where is your favourite place to escape to and read?

2. Funky Elephant Trunks of Fun

This next product comes with a two thumbs up rating from the kids and a HUGE Hurrah from me as it arrived in the second week of the school holidays, right when the kids were officially starting to send me insane with their "What can we do?" moans.

Funky Elephant is an Australian company created by two mums and they specialise in "Trunks of fun".

Each Trunk (box) comes with everything you need for 3-4 craft activities. All the projects are designed to get your kids creating, exploring, learning and having FUN!

The way it works is very simple, you purchase either a 2 month, 6 month or 12 month subscription and every month a funky trunk full of fun activities will arrive at your door addressed to your child.

All the activities are very carefully planned, tailored to 3 to 7 year olds and sourced from educational resources.

Trust me on this one, your kids will thank you and you will totally be thanking me for telling you about it!

For more info check out the Funky Elephant website or Facebook Page.
One lucky winner will receive a Funky Elephant

All you need to do is leave me a comment telling me what mischief your kids would probably be getting up to if they weren't busy crafting?

You can get a bonus entry for liking the Funky Elephant Facebook Page and saying Hi whilst you are there. Just leave me a separate comment to tell me you have done this too!

3. Method Hand Soaps

I am totally in Soapy heaven with my Method Handsoaps ... no like seriously in love with them!

They honestly smell divine and the bottles are just the cutest. Bonus points if you are slightly OCD like me, cause you can totally match them in with your bathroom, kitchen and laundry decor.

The Sea Minerals is my favourite so far, but with 3 grubby little boys (one of whom has his finger permanently in his nose - not mentioning any names Flynn ... oops) I am constantly sending them to the bathroom to degrub, so I am sure I will get to try out all the different colours / fragrances and the next bottle will probably be my new favourite too.

"Method’s biodegradable formula is free from any dirty ingredients like parabens, phthalates, triclosan, EDTA or animal by-products. plus, it comes in a recyclable and 100% recycled plastic bottle." Long story short - it is safe and totally family and environmentally friendly. I am officially Method Mad!
The lovely gang from Method are offering you guys
Free Delivery on any orders over $35 until 31/10/12.

To purchase go to the Method website here and enter lifelove in the section where it says coupon code.
This offer lasts until the 31st October so head on over and order up!
The gel hand wash range just happens to be 20% off until the 31/10/12 as well.

4. The Elf on The Shelf
This is one of the most gorgeous Christmas traditions I have seen in years.

Your family adopts their very own mischievous scout Elf that has been sent by Santa. The idea is that the Elf sits on the shelf somewhere central in the home when the kids go to bed at night.

The Elf's job is to fly back to the North Pole every night and tell Santa if the kids have been naughty or nice. Then *ahem* magically every morning he or she appears somewhere different in the home and the kids have a ball finding where he is and what he has been up to.

Since it was written by the mum and daughter team of Carol V. Aebersold and Chanda A. Bells and launched in 2005, it has sold over a whopping 2.5 million copies in the US and will be released for sale in Australia from the 1st November. This little Elf has an RRP of $37.95 and even has it's own official website www.theelfontheshelf.com

If you are on Pinterest you will see plenty of pics of this guy caught getting up to all sorts of crazy stuff and this blog has a fabulous post full of 101 ideas for your Elf On The Shelf.
I have one Elf on The Shelf  Set that needs a Loving Home.

Just leave me a message in the comments below telling us why he should come to live with your family?
